Not to many Xmas trees down under. We had to buy a fake one. I miss the xmas tree farm tradition.
What a nice photo collage of your daytrip to the tree farm. (How did you do that?) I hope you'll share your tree in it's full decorated glory!
We go between real and artificial. I have so many ornaments, I need one with strong branches. Check mine out on my blog.
I take it from Wendy's comment that you have farms or plantations of pine trees specifically for Christmas trees? There are some here but they are few and far between. If people want a tree with pine smell then they usually buy a small tree which has been harvested from a plantation and sold through hardware stores, markets or charities like the Scouts.
After many years of real trees, this year we bought a 6 foot tall artificial one.
I like your photos and I assume the lovely blonde is you?
Hi Alice-No the lovely blonde is my friend Michele. Being the camera operator I'm rarely in the pictures!!
These were taken at a farm who grows and sells trees for xmas.
Great montage. I hope you got the perfect tree!
Just catching up here--love this post of trees! You caught the whole experience. It's great! I can smell the trees from here--and taste the hot chocolate too. Perfect day.
