With such a beautiful subject I'm surprised you want to do anything but take photos. He really is a lovely boy.

Love his expression. I really like people photos. He is going to be a chick magnet someday. Prepare yourself. Your going to have to fight them off. The lighting is perfect.

My husband shoots in raw+jpeg format all the time. I have started doing the same. My understanding is that more data is captured in raw format, more true to a negative, so that if you are toning or changing an image to black and white it keeps your tonal range. I would appreciate hearing what you know about it.

The photo is so heavenly. Gorgeous.

Very handsome!
I'd call this one 'relaxation' or 'sweetness'.
I am getting intrigued with RAW format now.

Thanks Judith,Alice and Wendy. He is such a ham! I find that kids just love having their pictures taken. Very few adults are willing subjects. I only used candle light for this picture. I love the soft quality of it.

Hi Tami, that is what I understand too. I have been reading alot about it on the internet and like the fact that you have more control over the final result. I've seen lots of photographers that shoot in RAW and love their pictures. Being new to this hobby, I am just soaking up as much information as possible. I really wish there were more photography courses in my area!!

I love my garden at home and when I saw your pictures I was so excited. Your pictures really cheered me up today. Cold weather was taking it's toll on me.

Thank you for sharing your pictures.
