Day of Memories
Yesterday as I was reading the paper, I read that a buddy of mine from my highschool years had passed away.
I hadn't seen him for along time but I have often thought about him over the years. He was a handsome guy, very generous and fun to be around. Unfortunately he dabbled in drugs and never could shake them. Just like so many before him and so many to come.
So yesterday was a day of memories. Rest in peace Tony.

It is a sadly familiar story. I too have old friends that passed as a result of this same personal struggle. Why is it that some people just become so addicted and others never do.
Did he have any children?
The picture says a thousand words with this post.
So sorry!
At a time like this you can't help wondering 'what might have been?' So many young lives with enormous potential are lost through addiction to drugs and alcohol. Remember your friend fondly and be glad that his troubles are over.
Sorry to read this Sandy. It's harder when you've know them as a young person.
Your photos are interesting as I think cemeteries are full of history.
Sorry, Sandy !!!
Hi Kelli, remember him singing Led Zepplin all the time? He did have a great voice.
