Violas
My love affair with violas started many years ago. Flower tastes have come and gone, and sometimes back again. Violas though have always been one of my favorites. Dainty and unassuming little plants. Easy to tuck in little spots in the garden. Spring and Fall just wouldn't be complete with out them.

Stuff
I tend to have cameras laying around everywhere. I'm not the most organized person in my home, which I am told on a regular basis.
I finally received a bunch of film the other day including the 127 for the twins lense reflex camera. This weekend I am planning on heading out to take some shots with it and the holga. Tonight is the first photoclub meeting after summer. I'm looking forward to seeing the girls and theirs pictures from the summer. Looking forward to having some sushi too:).

Langley Cruise In
This past weekend we handed our child over to the grandparents, hopped in the 55 Chevy and headed to the mainland. Every year in Langley B.C., there is the second largest car show in Canada. We joined three other couples and made the drive together.
The whole town is blocked off and cars are parked up and down all the streets. The night before, the streets are filled with hot rods cruising around and hundreds of people walking or hanging out in pubs and restaurants watching them parade by. All in all it was a great weekend filled with good company, nice cars and cold beer.

Sponge Bob
Sponge Bob rocks in our house. We are now back to reality with work, school, hockey, piano etc, etc. It's nice to kick back for a half hour, relax and have a chuckle or two.
After having the summer off, it's been a long week for the boy and I. Having to set the alarm and to have to be places on time. Ahhhhh.... the days of summer are behind us now.

New Toy (or old toy...depending how you look at it)
Today was probably the last time we will be going to the beach to skim board. My parents joined us for the last of the summer fun. While there I happened to mention that I would love to get an old twin lens reflex camera. As luck would have it my good ole dad said he happened to have one in the attic.
I can't wait to try it out! I googled it because I hadn't heard of a Sawyer before and learned they were made in 1958-1960. Too bad 127 film is so expensive and hard to find. He also has a wide angle and telephoto lenses to go with it. Christmas in September!
