Neat crocus, and I can see a fly perched on one of the petals. The sun feels so good here today and my 'winter' pansies are blooming to beat the band! My crocus seem to be scattering here and there, but I don't mind that a bit. My daffs - Tete a Tete are starting to bloom!

This a lovely against-the-light shot and it is good to see the insect kingdom getting ready for Spring in there, too!

I envy you on the west coast with flowers in bloom and warm weather to enjoy. Here in Ontario it is still cold with lots of snow on the ground. I'm dreaming spring!

What a great picture! I so love backlighting--it makes such drama queens out of otherwise quiet (but still delightful) plants.

I sent spring as fast as I could but you're a darn long way for here :) Great lighting and love the little critter.

Hi Sandy,
I just found your blog and like these lilac crocus very much. I have a lots of springs flowers too, but crocus are still missed in my garden!

I just love how the light shines through the crocus in this pic! Your photos never cease to amaze me!
Glad you got a little sun at least on this day. We had a couple of beautiful days last week too. Since then it's been wind and snow, just like you. Blah is right! We're anxious for spring too. I especially dislike the cold winds.
Glad the wildflower pics cheered you up. Your photos always make me smile :)
