I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! Is this a flower indentified from the Lewis & Clark expedition, thus the name?

Another beautiful flower I've never seen before. Where do you find these exotic varieties?
Judith-This is a little alpine plant name Lewisia'Little Plum'. It is suppost to be a purple color. Mind you the orange was quite pretty. I find plants all over the place. I go to every garden center, nursery, Walmart, Home Depot etc. that I come across. I have a serious plant addiction:).
