I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! Your garden is so lovely. I wish I could get my grass to grow as nicely as yours. Of course, everything is quite different here.
Hi, I'm Gary and like taking pictures in my yard too, and in the woods. What are you using for the macro shots. Surely your Cyber Shot does not focus that close, or does it? I use a Digital Rebel with a 100mm macro lens. I love your pictures. You have such a sense of color and composition.
Hi Gary-I use a Nikon D70S with a Tamron 90mm Macro lense. I really like this lense for head/shoulder portraits also.
that really is a beautiful shot, I love to see the croziers unfurling, I'm not trying to flatter, but I think this image is exhibition quality.
