I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! Love the shot, but my question is about the name. What does the martinii refer to? Hybrid between euphorbia and a martini? With a cultivar name after all that, I'm totally confused. (Just when I thought I was figuring it all out, too.)
Takoma gardener - I haven't looked it up but it most likely refers to the person who bred that particular variety, probably named Martin. I may be wrong in this case but it's true in a lot of instances.
Sandy - I really love your diamond encrusted plants.
Susan- Maybe a drunk plant breeder...
