I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! What is that Sandy ?
It's a purple coneflower.
I finally cut my ratty coneflowers down (left the ones in the backyard) because there doesn't seem to be a local creature here who cares for the seeds. I was hoping to see some pretty birds on them.

I haven't seen what birds have been snacking but I have been keeping my eye on the coneflowers.
