I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! Lovely detail on this little toad lily still blooming. Somebody told me long ago the plant is poisonous but I had no intention of eating it, anyway!

Carokat- I grew these from bulbs I planted in the spring. To be perfectly honest I had forgotten about them until they started to bloom. My garden is grossly overplanted right now and really needs some attention:)
