Is that a little place to have a fire in the evenings? I would love to sit next to that and enjoy the stillness of the garden.

Wonderful photo! I'd also like to know the name of that beautiful evergreen which wendy mentioned. You have also there a pink clematis! Do you know the name for it?

Wendy and Mariaj-The conifer is larix decidua pendula. A must have. The clematis in the maple is 'Asao'.

Micki-Yes we sit there in the evening some times. If the neighbors dog isn't barking it can be nice and quiet.
