I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! That's my Girl ?
This months assignment for my photography club is Self Portraits. It has been interesting to say the least. None of us are really thrilled with the topic. Each month we draw a topic and have to take three shots of it. So this is one of mine. My husband dared me to blog it.
lol, Sandy! :) You are gorgeous, and very brave too!! That is the worst possible assignment, isn't it? At least you have a sense of humor about it, though, and you did a great job. A+ !! :)
She had eyes the color of a robin's egg & that face it reminded me of a
frothy minthe julep from
a hot summers day long ago!!

anonymous-I'm sorry for the lack of Murray. He is my neighbors dog and been banned from my garden for now. You see..my garden is at a tender time right now with the peonies and other favorites emerging. Murray is a little rude and has very bad manners in the garden. He tears around in a puppy frenzy. I do walk him often though and he is such a handsome and clever fellow. I promise to go over with my camera and take some shots of him. Maybe on Sunday. The weather is suppost to be nice:(.
BTW-I never normally do this. I had blue mud all over my camera and everything else. This actually took more time that I thought it would. With that said....my face felt great when I was done. I recommend trying it out. Girls and Guys:)

Thanks for the reply! As I said, Murray was the attraction but I find myself returning now for the whole package.
