yes, but whose shell is it?
Speaking of egg shells, have you been watching the live eagle web cam in Hornsby Island BC? They are both amazing & educational. We are looking forward to the hatching anytime between today & Sat. If you would like to view, though difficult today due high traffic. They are at .hanockwildlife.
this is in No way meant as an advertisement
Wonder how I would access that web cam. Sound interesting. Is that a left over easter egg shell?
I took that to be a bird shell, after the baby hatched, it reminded me of the eagle cam I have been watching.
They are @ www.hanockwildlife.com
I did not spell it out as many sites consider that advertising thus my disclaimer. It is receiving over 100 million hits a day be patient takes about 30 seconds to load. which can seem like etenity! Turn up the sound!!
Tony-It is a robins egg. I find the odd one broken in the garden.
Anonymous-Thanks for stopping by. I'll check out the webcam tomorrow when it is light out.
Such a lovely contrast to the surrounding scene, robin's eggs are such a pretty blue.
I love this, the color aginst the grey!
I like that pic a lot. It looks like the rock is hatching from the egg and the color contrast is interesting.
