Good Deeds

My son had a party the other day for his 8th birthday. He decided to ask for donations to the food bank instead of toys this year. He raised $100.00 and said that it made him feel really happy! Posted by Picasa

First of all ... I can't believe he is 8. Wasn't it just the other day he was strapped in a high chair in Race Point.

You have brought up another generous Canadian. Be proud!

You must be so proud. My son was asking about self-centeredness today. He was told in social studies that only children are very self-centered and wanted to know if he was. I told him that most children were. Yours is outside the norm! Good for him and the people in his life!

Thank you Sylvana. He has always been a kind little soul. I'm glad he recognized the fact that it makes you feel good when you give. The ladies at the food bank made a big fuss over him!
