I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. I am by no means a horticulture smartypants and take a casual approach to gardening. Most of my pictures are taken in my garden as I tend to be a homebody. Thanks for stopping by! I can't explain why but this shot makes me feel very sad. It's a lovely shot thought...
Interesting. It has the same effect on me. I looked at it for a long time and actually wasn't going to post it.
Possibly it's the remembrance of these leaves in all their beauty in life, and now they are dead. But you know full well that the leaves must die and fall, and the tree must rest in the winter ready to burst forth in all its glory in the Spring.
Same here, it has a sad feel to me also. I love the colors...it reinforces the wintery feel.
