Blogging Break

I have decided to step away from my computer for awhile. Not forever, just a bit of a blogging break. With the bulbs planted and the gardens put to rest I feel the need to seek inspiration in other endeavors.

There are lots of new things I would like to try. Photography has taken a hold on me and I would like to pursue it on other subjects besides flowers. Cross country skiing is something else I want to try this winter. I have just bought some skates and plan to try that more often as a form of exercise. My goal is to do something physical for at least a hour everyday.

I will still be popping in your blogs thoughout the winter, just a little more sporadically. I will still post the odd pic though it might not be a garden picture. Have a great winter and go out and try something new!

I kinda feel the same way about my blogging. It becomes time consumming. Time is such a commodity at our age.
I am envious of your ski endevor. I miss downhilling most of all now that we aren't living in Canada. Good on ya mate. Keep in touch. Ill miss your lovely photo but I understand the call to the mountain/photography/others.

I'll miss you Sandy, but I understand the need to experience other things from time to time. I hope you have a great time skiing and the exercise strengthens your shoulder and all your muscles ready for next fall's leaves ... lol. Seriously, I do hope you have a wonderful time. Don't forget us and do please post a photo and comment from time to time so that we know how you are going. My best wishes to you always. Alice.

Sandy is stepping away from the computer. I don't beleive it. Good on you though, it is time consuming or all consuming for some. Glad I live in the same town as you, so I will still get to see you. Everyone in blogging world. Sandy is truly a great friend, I wish you could all meet her. Your life would be better for it. I know mine is. And, I'm sure when she drags me skiing, I'll have to think back to this post. HaHa couldn't get too sentimental on you now, could I.

I'll miss your posts, but I do understand. Not as much light now, and have to make the best of your days. It's amazing how, just when you think you are all caught up and are good, something else comes along. I swear we were born to be busy.

I understand the need for a break but I must admit I will miss your photos. You are quite a talented photographer and while I don't comment a lot I have enjoyed looking at the world through your lens.

I agree, do keep posting photos and updating us on your cross-country skiing (I heard it's hard), etc. We all need to be inspired, so inspire me!
