Gorgeous colors!
I use alot of plants with color and different textures. I love lots of flowers but they come and go. This way I have color most of the year.
Cute
That really is my 'soapbox' now, encouraging gardeners to look at the whole plant, not just its flowers. The shape of the plant, its texture, leaf colour, how it complements or contrasts with other plants, etc. As you say, Sandy, flowers are for such a short time but if one can bring interest and pleasure all year round then that's a plant worth having. Even bare tree branches can look stunning in silhouette or coated in frost. Sorry to ramble on but as I said, this is my 'soapbox' subject (actually, one among many).
Thank you so very much for giving us the opportunity to enjoy your garden too.
There are so many colored foliage plants nowadays you can have color all year long. Mind you green and white are still my favorite colors in the garden.
