The Renovation Bug has struck again!
My husband and I have been very lazy lately. We decided today to go pick out some new flooring for the laundry room. Not a huge job and one that has been patiently waiting to be done. After a sucessful day of shopping around, we bought flooring and have begun to sand and prepare the walls for a new paint job. I love doing this kind of stuff. I own various paint fans because I love looking at paint colors! I love progress!

What flooring did you choose? Can't see you doing Lino. Practical but not your style. Maybe cork or tile? What wall colors. I still have my BJ Moore paint fan. They are never getting it back.
Funny you should say that Wendy. You know me so well! I've turned over a new leaf. I've decided to be pratical for once in my life. We were going to originally do a flagstone tile. Grey slate, but we decided it was more than we wanted to spend. Then we were going to do tile but then I found this lino tile that actually looks pretty darn good and we can put it over the existing floor. With tile we would have to rip out the existing floor and do alot more prep work. After all it is only a small laundry room and we just want to get it done. I took before pics and I will take after pics to show you. I haven't decided on the color yet. I have it narrowed down to a few BJ Moore colors.
Yeah, progress is something to love! I bet it will look nice when finished. I find tiles cold to step on & not friendly when someone drops a glass...I collect paint fans--handy for many things. Nice to 'see' you guys work--we are lazy & hanging out blowing our noses due to head colds.
You can head to my place next :)
Oh my friend with the paint fans. Tis the season for renos. Got my kitchen drawings back and have since redrew, as was not to my liking. Would love for you to come over with said paint fans and help chose some colours. You have wonderful taste. Also, glad to see you being practical. It is a room that gets lots of family traffic, but is not one that needs lots of money spent as it could be used more wisely elsewhere. Good advice, but don't remind me that it was only 5 years ago that I reno'd my kitchen. Practical, smactical. I'm leaving that department of practicality to my friends. Love ya'
Judith-Hope you are feeling better soon! I hate being sick. No time to be sick!
Rock-I love spending other peoples money. I'll have my people call your people. LOL
Mrs Wilson- Your're insane. I must admit it is going to look smashing! Me and my paint fans would love to come by.
Cool! Keep up posted in your blog. You know I am into renovating too!
Practical has its place. It is just a laundry room. Some of that Lino can look good and tile is sooooo cold. You must post your pics when finished.
I've been working slowly on our house too. I'm picking out paint color for the dining room and kitchen right now. Next is pulling down wallpaper in some other areas and painting!
Have fun Shannon. Taking wallpaper down is always a pain!
