I really love the peacefulness of your garden. Those beautiful trees, now showing their stunning colours, and that magnificent lawn. I know lawns are somewhat frowned upon these days due to the water they require (although it's not all that much if one is allowed sufficient time to water it properly once a week. Alas, most watering restrictions don't allow that. We only get time to give the garden a sprinkle which is bad for the garden and water storages as we finish up using more water less effectively.) Boy, didn't I stray a long way from your lovely garden, but rest assured, I'll keep coming back.

Thanks for the kind words Alice. We usually get enough rain here to keep the lawns green. The last few years though it has be very dry during the summer months. I usually only water my garden once a week. Except for the newer areas. I find myself attracted more and more to drought tolerant plants. I lost a few plants this year because they just needed too much pampering.
