Your garden is so beautiful! I hope to have mine looking that wonderful some day. My problem is I struggle with not enough sun in my yard, just too many trees. What size is your property?
My yard is 70 by 210. Gardening in heavy shade can be difficult. My work garden(check my links) is very hard to garden in certain areas. Is it really dense shade?
One side is pretty dense shade. The back is filtered, so I think I'll be able to work that part eventually...(when I have time to get to it.) But my passion is roses, so the lack of sun causes much heartache and aggrevation. I'm having to rethink my yard and plan some new beds to accomodate them.
A friend of mine has a shady garden so she grows hers in containers on her deck. They look lovely and the do great. That is where she gets the most sun.
