I've started this blog to keep a journal and pictures of my gardens journey. I love to garden and recently have taken up photography. Thanks for your comments about hydrangeas in my blog. I only break off the dead wood of the plant. I think I will try what you said about digging around it in the spring. Good idea. I have two other hydrangeas that are pulling the 'no blooms act' on me. I got them as gifts (probably bought at the supermarket) so maybe the plants aren't great.
They need to be threatened!
That area looks so tranquil. I would plunk my butt down in that area and just relax with a book.
